support
need a hand?
atrophy is a one-person app, so replies are not instant. they are, however, written by the person building the thing.
contact
- atrophy.app@gmail.com — best for private support. response time: 1-3 business days.
- public issues
- github.com/atrophy-ai/support/issues — good for bugs, feature requests, and accessibility issues that do not include private information.
frequently asked
how do i cancel my subscription?
apple handles cancellation, not us. on your iphone: settings → [your name] → subscriptions → atrophy pro → cancel subscription. or visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions in a browser signed into your apple id.
cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. until then, you keep access to the calibration drills. after that, you still keep the free diagnostic.
i subscribed on another device. how do i restore purchases?
open atrophy on the new device, go to the paywall after taking the diagnostic, and tap restore purchases at the bottom. as long as you are signed into the same apple id, your active subscription should come back within a few seconds.
can i export my data?
there is almost nothing to export. atrophy stores no data on a server. on the device it keeps a small
diagnostic-history record under one ios userdefaults key (atrophy.diagnosticHistory.v1) — score,
tier, and timestamps for past runs. individual answers reset every cold launch by design. you can clear
everything by deleting and reinstalling the app. see the privacy policy for details.
i'd like a refund.
apple handles refunds, not us. request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. we cannot issue refunds directly because we never see your payment information.
accessibility.
atrophy is built in native swiftui, which gets voiceover, dynamic type, reduce motion, and smart invert support from apple by default. if a screen does not respond to your accessibility settings the way it should, please report it. accessibility regressions are bugs, full stop.
i'm a journalist / researcher / clinician.
the research synthesis, citations, and the claims we intentionally avoid are available on request. email and we will send it. a public methodology page is planned for a later release.
why is there no chatbot in the app?
that is the whole point. atrophy gives knowledge workers a small window without one. adding an ai helper would defeat the purpose.
